Train Through a Winter Night
This picture was exciting to shoot. Coming along the freeway in a blizzard, I passed this train as it made it's way down the tracks. Ahead of it by about 10 minutes, I pulled off the road and waited. Hearing it grind along the cold tracks in the distance, I readied my camera. Set it to take bracketed exposures, not knowing how bright it's light would show in the total darkness. The scene grew bright -- pop, pop, pop! I fired off 9 shots in a second. This one nailed it.
